AQUATIC THERAPY

Aquatic therapy is a wonderful rehab tool used to restore function while using the buoyant properties of water to reduce the impacts of gravity and weight on the body's joints. Laurelhurst Aquatic Therapy offers three unique salt-water pools at the West Portland location. Our therapy pool is a soothing 91° F with stainless steel bars that can be used, for example, to perform deep water core exercises, decompression movements for low back pain and disc issues, or to rehabilitate individuals with arthritis or osteoporosis. We also offer shallow water rehabilitation programs that are ideal for clients who are post surgical, need improved joint range of motion, and are pregnancy conditioning.
